Reverend Henry Webb
Assistant to the Pastor
A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Henry Webb was raised under the watchful eyes his mother Mrs. Pinkey Willis, a host of relatives, and a community that stretched far and wide across the city. As a child, “Little Henry” attended Antioch Baptist and was baptized at age 11.
In 1952, at the age of 16, Henry enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in the 82nd Airborne as a paratrooper and in the infantry during the Korean Conflict.
Upon his discharge, he returned to Atlanta, reunited with Antioch Baptist Church, attended school, started a family, and went to work.
Following his move to Boise, Idaho, in 1984, Henry made major changes in his life, uniting with St. Paul Baptist Church and committing to walk with God for the rest of his life. He joined St. Paul under the leadership of Dr. H. Lincoln Oliver and immediately became active in the fellowship singing in the choir, serving as a Sunday School and Bible School Teacher, on the Trustee Board, and working with the Laymen and the Prison Ministry.
On October 13, 1990 Henry was ordained as a Deacon at St. Paul and continued in that capacity until he was called to the ministry and licensed to preach. He immediately enrolled in classes at Boise Bible College, committed to better equip\ himself for the ministry as directed by the scriptures: Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
II Timothy 2:15
